Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd gained confidence after her win, and she won three bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd won her next match in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut in professional boxing. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill as she was able to stop her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round by KO. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter receiving their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her win streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC in ESPN 7. In her recent fight for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. The decision was made unanimously against her.
